What's up everybody. So I guess I'm a no-good lying rapscallion that can't keep to his word. That's fine I guess. I haven't had the energy to come do this. I don't think blogging is something that I really have in me, but I'm still gonna do it off and on so I can get a nice respectable website up and running.

Not gonna beat around the bush on this one, I just kinda want to jump right into it.

So recently I started playing Ultima 4, which might seem strange because I said I was going to play 5, and don't get me wrong, 5 is still one I really want to play, but everything I read highly suggested I play Ultima 4 to familiarize myself wwith the engine. That being said, I am loving Ultima 4, and I'm really glad I playd it first. Just the sheer number of things you can do, accompaned by the fact that if you hadn't played 4, at least in my brief experience, when you start 5, I had no freaking clue where I was. I've familiarized myself a bit with Britannia, and I'm still not sure where that's supposed to be, but I've only visited 4 towns so far. I'll be adding pages to the site keeping up with my adventures and detailing my various exploits, but I haven't been keeping super in-depth notes, so bear with me there.

I'm actually at work now, and they gave me login info for the computer, what for I couldn't really tell you. It's clearly one that was stripped down to just be used for work, so either they don't ttust the employees, or at least security. I'm working a twelve tonight, and even though the building is closed, the whole experience is just grueling. Getting up every half hour so I can walk around an enormous warehouse where nothing has happened in at least the last 6 years. Whatever, at least I at least have a computer I can type things up on here, as opposed to reading a book like I usually do. The only downside is that I can't upload anything, command prompt for some reason doesn't work properly on this computer, and since I'm sure they watch what I do, I'm not going to figure out what it's on about. THe one other thing is that I can't go use w3 to figure out what my code does, so I can only really do basic blog entries, and I'll also be creating at least a couple of Ultima 4 pages tonight.

you guys might know that I'm looking for a new job, hopefully one where I can apply some of these things that I have learned, I know I have a long way to go. I bring it up because I was speaking with a friend of mine that works at the Walmart that I used to work at, and he's talked to some people, and they might be willing to hire me back on part time, which is great, I suppose. I'm torn, though. I want to get a better job before too far off long, and I'd hate to go in just to turn around and quit again a month later. I guess right now I can work extra shifts in security, but it's soooooooo boring, y'know? I want to have a better job by the end of the month, and not to sound pessimistic, but failing that, the end of the year.
