Hello readers! This is obviously going to be my first blog post. Its my earnest hope that I will be updating this at least once daily with whatever pointless meandering thoughts or ideas.

In actuality this is more of experiment on myself to make me more likely to put effort in to this thing and actually add things to it instead of just letting it stagnate.

That's part of what I like to be: straightforward, no nonsense. Full disclosure

Really though, I'm just gonna talk about my day. Pardon any mistakes in the typing, I'm not a huge fan of proofreading, but I am absolutely an advocate of correct spelling and grammar, so please contact me if you have serious concerns about my rhetoric and overall typing.

So right now I'm attempting to learn HTML, as you may have gathered. The site I'm using, which I'll choose to advocate after I have determined they are worthwhile, is a little weird, from my perspective, on the teaching side. On one hand, you can see what I've learned, really basic stuff mostly. I assumed that the lessons would progress in a way different than they are. All of the sudden I go from learning about placing the text on the page,

then I learned how to change the colors of things.

all the way to learning things that have no perspective relevance to me like STRONG TEXT! ME STRONG TEXT, ME IMPORTANT BECAUSE ME STRONG!

ooh, ooh, look i can quote things Interpret that as you will.

actually that last one is pretty useful. You know what isn't?! Keyboard | Input | Nonsense
I just feel like I'm spinning my wheels, trying to memorize these things, that I likely won't use frequently, when I could be learning formatting or something if the sort. I suppose I don't have the correct objective standpoint to be criticizing the teaching methods for something I've never learned before. Hopefully I'll learn something soon that will improve the look and feel of the site.

I just want to talk about one more thing before I let you guys go. I work in private security. Part of this, our job titles, I find to be endlessly amusing. Apparently we aren't security officers or guards because those titles have implications. We're supposed to call ourselves security professionals What would I sound like if I told you I was a security professional? This guy sounds like a total asshole I can totally feel you thinking that. But that's not the point of this thought, though. In the morning during weekdays, specifically this morning, I greeted people with a smile and a pleasant good morning. and sometimes they'll just walk by you without saying anything, and you know, whatever, to each their own, your head could be swirling with thought, however unlikely it may seem. This morning specifically I greeted one lady with a smile and a good morning. Mind you she wasn't a slow walker, but it was clear that she was in no hurry, but she looked at me, then looked back forward and kept walking, not even acknowledging my presence. You must be some special kind of miserable to have gotten like that, lady. Maybe returning a greeting once in awhile would make you feel less despicable about each day. It just gets on my nerves that people can be so rude. It makes me wonder why I even bother sometimes.

By the way, did you see me using quotes again up there? Super useful.

Thanks for reading guys, I'll try and be back tomorrow with a fresh update. Until then!
